Valley Crisis Center provides a 14-Week support groups to people affected by intimate partner violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. These groups are a safe and confidential place where people can share their experiences with peers who have shared similar experiences.

We currently offer:

A Step Ahead

A group for people affected by intimate partner violence referred by Child Welfare Services. It is currently available only in English, but accommodations can be made for other languages if needed. Participants will enjoy arts & crafts, a treat every other week and friendly discussion.

Courageous Kids

Courageous Kids, a group for kids between the ages of 5 -12 where they join their peers and play games and do arts and crafts while learning about things like self-esteem, empowerment, emotions and more. We do ask that while kids are in the group their parent or guardian stay in the office while group is in session. This group is currently only in English.

If you would like to attend one of these groups, please call us or come into our office for an assessment.

We do not offer Batterers Treat Programs. Please see this document (This PDF may not be compatible with screen readers) provided by Merced County Superior Court for resources.
